Planets in a room was developed by the no-profit Association Speak Science, with the collaboration of researchers and technicians from two of the main italian research institutions in Astrophysics (INAF and the Roma Tre University).
We acknowledge the vast community of amateur and professionals that is actively working on innovative, open educational and outreach systems for astronomy such as DIY planetarium and virtual reality systems. Planets in a room is based on the work of this vast community of people and their experiences and shared results.
We also acknowledge Europlanet for funding the project with the Outreach Funding Scheme prize and with the project Europlanet 2024 RI.
(*) Europlanet 2024 RI has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 871149
